About me

I believe in the power of human kindness and resilience to overcome pain and suffering.  I have been doing therapy in English and Spanish with children, teens, and adults for over 12 years.  I feel grateful I have had the chance to work with people navigating life’s most important moments of pain and joy.  I want to work with you as a team, building on your unique strengths to overcome painful challenges.  My approach is warm, accepting, collaborative and empowering.  I want to help you find the path to healing emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
I value diversity and social justice.  I want you to feel comfortable discussing topics of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, and spirituality and their meanings in your life.  I strive to be unconditionally respectful and affirming.

I consider myself a native San Diegan (since age 2) and I love the beach, reading, jogging, hiking, and spending time with my husband, our son and 2 cats.

I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology (Minor in Spanish) from the University of Redlands and my Master's of Social Work degree from Boston College (Concentration: Clinical, Mental Health).
